I have been taking a prostrate supplement of Dr.Mindell's containing saw palmetto.I am 42 years old with thinning hair(receding hairline) I am noticing lot's of new hair growth,mostly in the front of my hair line, and all my hair seems to be getting thicker. Been on this supplement for 2 months |

That doesn't surprise me. Saw Palmetto works in a similar manner as finasteride (Proscar and Propecia). Propecia is a prescribed medicine indicated for male pattern baldness. Proscar is a more potent version (in terms of the milligrams of finasteride per dose) of finasteride used for the treatment of prostate related conditions. Thanks for sharing. |

Yes, but saw saw palmetto is much safer with none of the "side effects" of the prescribed products.Propecia,and Prosguard are in my opinion to risky to even consider.Thank You So Much for your reply |

Yes, as far as I know women can take saw palmetto.A good supplement that will also help with healthy hair,skin,and nails is MSM (methylsufonylmethane), a form of organic sulfur.I use one that is combined with vitamin C. Good Luck Jerry |

A Hair Growth supplement that works! I need more proof before I go out and buy this Saw Palmetto stuff. Maybe your just a salesman looking to promote Saw Palmetto for hair growth. Maybe your on other pills and they are the one causing hair growth. Maybe your an alien who honor lies! |
